Authlete is proud to sponsor and present at the FDX Spring Global Summit 2024 : Are You Ready for Open Banking? which will take place at Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C. from March 12-15, 2024.
We became a member of the Financial Data Exchange (FDX) in 2020, the organizer of the summit and a non-profit industry standards body operating in the US and Canada. FDX is dedicated to unifying the financial services ecosystem around a common, interoperable, and royalty-free technical standard for user-permissioned financial data sharing.
At the summit, Authlete’s Co-founder and Director Ali Adnan and Japan Country Manager Tatsuo Kudo will deliver a presentation on a new approach and best practices for implementing a fully compliant and secure API authorization mechanism for open banking, enabling a seamless user experience.
In addition, Joseph Heenan, Authlete CTO and the Technical Lead of the OpenID Foundation’s (OIDF) Certification Program, as well as a contributor to OIDF’s FAPI (formerly known as Financial-Grade API) working group, will share the latest updates and insights on technical standards.
Authlete has been actively contributing to developing secure and interoperable API security standards, including FAPI as an author. FAPI has been adopted by the FDX and the open banking ecosystems in Australia, Brazil, and the UK, among others.
Our API solution, which has obtained security certifications for the Australian Consumer Data Right (CDR), Open Finance Brazil, Open Insurance Brazil, and UK Open Banking, has been deployed by leading financial institutions in such countries as Brazil, Japan, and the UK.
