Authlete’s CTO Joseph Heenan will share updates on OpenID for Verifiable Credentials (OID4VC) in Mandalay Bay I from 3:10-3:35 pm on Wednesday, June 4. In his presentation titled “Building Scaleable & Interoperable Digital Credential Ecosystems with OpenID for Verifiable Credentials,” Joseph will highlight updates to the OID4VC specifications and share the latest on the protocol conformance tests. He will also introduce the existing interoperability profiles based on OID4VC.
Last year, Authlete introduced support for OpenID for Verifiable Credential Issuance (OID4VCI) in Authlete 3.0. Our implementation has been proven effective through multiple global pilot and proof-of-concept projects, including EU Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet’s Potential project and Japan’s Trusted Web initiative.
