Tribeck Selects Authlete to Enhance Third-Party Application Integration for SME Digital Transformation Platform

Authlete’s unique backend service architecture enables secure and seamless OAuth integration for Tribeck’s Hirameki 7

We’re pleased to announce that Tribeck Inc. (Tribeck) has adopted Authlete to build an OAuth 2.0 server for its cloud service, Hirameki 7, enabling integration with third-party applications.

Tribeck provides digital marketing support and digital transformation (DX) platforms. Hirameki 7, with over 37,000 cumulative corporate users, is a DX platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) designed to improve operational efficiency and management across marketing, operations, and finance. By using Hirameki 7, customers can consolidate various solutions for SME’s digital transformation challenges into a single tool, laying the foundation for new business creation.

To achieve seamless integration between the Hirameki 7 platform and third-party applications, Tribeck chose Authlete to implement the OAuth 2.0 server functionality. Production operation began in October 2025.

Objectives and Background of Authlete Adoption

To enable third-party application use on Hirameki 7, Tribeck needed to optimize the user experience—from adding applications to confirming consent—and establish a secure authorization flow using OAuth 2.0.

Tribeck initially considered using Amazon Cognito, which had been used for Hirameki 7's user authentication. However, its limitations in user interface customization and flexibility of OAuth configuration posed challenges. The company also evaluated IDaaS (Identity as a Service), such as Auth0, and open-source software authorization servers, such as Ory Hydra. Auth0 was ruled out due to its cost-effectiveness, and Ory Hydra was eliminated because of the significant burden of database operations.

Following a comparative review, Tribeck ultimately adopted Authlete.

Integration of external applications in Hirameki 7using Authlete

“We highly valued Authlete’s high development flexibility, significant reduction in operational load, and support for future standard extensions. In particular, Authlete’s fully backend-based architecture enabled the separation of user flows from OAuth processing in the integration between Hirameki 7 and third-party applications, allowing us to optimize the user experience while ensuring secure API authorization,” said Satoshi Kawana, Tech Lead, Service Development Department, DX Platform Division, Tribeck. “Authlete proved to be the most well-balanced and optimal solution as the API authorization engine to support Tribeck’s platform vision.”
